Swing Direction is remote golf coaching built by a founder who went from a 20 handicap to sub-5, and delivered by a PGA teaching pro and former Division I coach. One plan for your whole game, a coach every week, and a target handicap to measure it against.
A local pro who sees you for 45 minutes a month. A feed full of conflicting tips. An app where a coach comments on your video and the plan is up to you. None of them answer the question that matters: what should I be working on this week, and is it moving my handicap?
One swing thought every few weeks, no connection to the last one, and nothing to do in between.
Every video is a fix for someone else's swing. Stacking them makes most golfers worse, not better.
Video review tells you what is wrong. It does not tell you what to fix first, or what to leave alone.
Jordan built this the way a founder builds anything: find where the strokes are leaking, fix the biggest leak first, measure, repeat. Matt makes sure every fix is technically right for your swing and your body. The plan covers five areas and goes after whatever is actually costing you shots.
The one or two swing changes that matter for your pattern, and nothing else.
Wedges, chipping and putting, where most handicaps are actually won.
Targets, club selection and the decisions that cost you shots without touching your swing.
Mobility, strength and clubhead speed, built around your body and your schedule.
Routine, expectations and how to play when it is not going well.

Jordan went from a 20 handicap to sub-5 while building a software company and raising two kids, and never found a coach who would give him the whole picture. So he built the plan himself: improvement as a system, with inputs, feedback loops and a target. That system is what Swing Direction coaches. Jordan designs the program and sits in on every assessment and checkpoint.

Matt is a PGA teaching professional, TPI certified, and a former Division I college golf coach with more than a decade developing players, from juniors chasing college golf to adults chasing scratch. He combines biomechanics and launch monitor data with practical, on-course application. Matt writes every plan, reviews every swing, and runs our in-person short game clinics.
Coaching is the core. The speed program and the clinics are built on the same system and feed into it.
